This DVD is a short, conclusively shiny and informative, introduction to GMAW welding. I heartily stimulate that anyone knew to GMAW welding buy this DVD. However, make not buy solid expecting to precisely get down how to coalesce.

This DVD well alone delves into the seasoning of the transaction and how the equipment works. I was a bit disappointed to catch that embodied didn ‘ t cover information wider than that, consonant being what a good agglutinate looks same, what a bad couple looks matching, technigues for avoiding errors, and and so on. Unfortunately, parallel a DVD doesn ‘ t present to befall anywhere and hence stab – also – mistake rise to epitomize your solitary preacher unless you ‘ re willing to fee to fully vigor to a welding indoctrinate ( which you should if you ‘ re looking to welding because an

The principle of the MIG welding was developed there fifty years. An electrical arc is created between the piece and an electrode formed by the wire that comes from the torch, which is also an input field. An inert gas is injected through the torch to create a protective halo around the weld and improve quality.

Important parameters in the MIG welding are

speed wire feeder,

distance from the torch to the sheet,

voltage,

the speed of the torch,

the position of the torch: “push” or “pull”

technology and experience of the operator.

Besides the speed and voltage supply wire which are adjustable on the post from MIG knobs, the other parameters are managed directly by the operator through his actions.

These parameters can affect to a great extent the quality of a weld, and must be adjusted correctly before soldering. A good knowledge of their effects on the weld is essential to perform optimum setting according to your conditions.

Speed wire feeder

In the MIG welding, the current of the arc is essentially linked to the speed feed wire and the distance between the torch and the metal sheet. The faster food, the greater the power is great. We vary the amperage by playing on the knob of the speed of the thread.

The amperage is very important because it is directly related to the penetration, ie the depth of fusion, which determines the quality and strength of the weld. More amperage is stronger, the penetration will be. Beware however, the body or on working primarily with thin sheets, it is in low amperage, and it was soon to have too much penetration and make holes in the sheet.

There are standard values of amperage for a sheet thickness and diameter of wire given, usually supplied by the post MIG.

Note that the diameter of wire (usually 0.6mm for thin sheets up to 1.2mm and 0.8mm for thicker sheet) changes the absolute value of the amperage, but it is constant throughout the weld (since we can not change it).

The only way to vary the current during the welding is to change the distance between the torch and the metal sheet.

The distance of the torch to the tole

In the MIG welding, an electrical arc is created between the wire out of the torch, serving as electrode (+ pole) and sheet (pole -).
The distance “torch tole” is the distance between the exit point of the thread of the torch and welded sheet.

In the torch away from the sheet, it reduces the amperage, thus the penetration, and vice versa, so the operator usually tries to keep a constant distance along the welding, the order of 1cm to 1.5cm.

Too much distance generates a temperature of arc insufficient and too much metal is deposited on the cord, causing swelling and few welds penetrating, and poor stability of the arc.

The voltage

The voltage controls the length of the arc. MIG posts have a button for adjusting the voltage, in addition to the button speed wire feeder.

For a given current (determined by the speed feed wire and the distance of the torch to the sheet), there is an optimum value of voltage. Compared to the desired value, too little or too much voltage resulting in poor penetration. The voltage also influences the appearance of the weld bead by increasing the voltage, it flattens and widens the weld bead.

The speed of the torch

The speed with which you handle the torch has a direct influence on the quality of the weld.

Like the voltage, there is a weld-up for an optimum value of the speed of light, offering the best penetration. Too little and too much metal is removed and tends to smother the blaze. Too large and the heat generated by the arc does not have time to properly melt the metal. The optimal speed in a given case falls within the experience of the operator.

The position of the torch

We distinguish two movements usually possible:
the push, or forehand: the torch is tilted backwards as though she “pushed” the drop of molten metal.
the PULL or backhand: the torch is tilted forward, as if she “pulled” the molten metal.
The angle of the torch with the vertical must not exceed 25 °, in both types of position.
The position of the torch has a fairly significant influence on the shape of the weld seam, rather than the voltage or speed. In PUSH mode, there is less penetration, the cord is wider. This is the method used to weld thin sheets. PULL mode, for against the penetration is optimal, and the cord closer.

Inert gas shielded arc welding
Inert gas shielded arc welding, shielding gas (mainly argon, helium and other inert gas) to cover the arc and molten metal, welding method to weld to prevent air intrusion.

Gas shielded arc welding
Gas shielded arc welding is a method to cover the weld by the welding and shielding gas argon and carbon dioxide. Difference between the inert gas shielded arc welding, active gas (a mixture of carbon dioxide gas and carbon dioxide) is a point to use.

Gravity Welding
Gravity and welding, using shielded metal arc welding consumables in the welding rod, place the covered electrode sloping slide bar, and work down by the holder is a prudent way to handle it without welding. Also known as the Gravity welding is also known as gravity welding.

Submerged arc welding
Submerged arc welding is a welding method using SORIDDOWAIYA to make sure that you spray the granular flux to weld. Often welding robot, welding is not a good one can be blurred in the high current path.

Self-shielded arc welding
Self-shielded arc welding, gas shield without way flux cored welding wire. Flux cored wires inside are the tubular, arc stabilizer, deoxidizing agents, slag forming agent, and is filled metal powder. Can be welded by using a shielding gas flux.

Pulsed arc welding
Pulse-arc welding is a welding method to automatically increase or decrease in a certain period depending on the speed of the welding current supply of welding wire. In general fast-to-pulse high-current and low current, reducing the strain, is effective in preventing burn-through.

Plasma welding
Plasma welding, plasma arc (plasma column, transfer arc) welding and how to use the heat.

Metal active gas welding (MAG welding)
CO2 Ar Mugs and welding, mainly CO2 (carbon dioxide) and Ar (argon) is how to weld and cut off from the atmosphere by a gas mixture, such as welds. MAG Metal Active Gas The mug and MAG (Metal Active Gas) stands for.

Mig Welding (MIG welding)
Mig welding, inert gas shielding gas (inert gas) is used.
Co2(Co2 Welding Co2 (carbon dioxide), MAG welding (Co2 mixed with inert gas) and also are used in many semi-automatic welding in general. MIG Metal Inert Gas MiG and the MIG (Metal Inert Gas) stands for.

WPS is actually a combination of process (GTAW – GMAW) gratitute that P is correct, but there are a few questions and problem for me. How result of a process of welding the more that do not touch directly with the flow of a service can affect the design of the equipment page (in this case a postscript GMAW as part of a filler until CAPPING ROOT). If we observe that touch directly with the service flow is not the GTAW and GMAW. Please note that the process of a welding will not affect the flow of service home design material designed by the Engineering and what WPS is correct and in accordance with the characteristics of the base flow metal and service though the process of using welding not be any problems. If the process of welding (GMAW dg CO2) associated with the strength welding result of the shielding gas CO2 is still relevant and have join. How joint process GMAW with CO2 as Shielding Gas with the strength of welded?

Please note Shielding gas CO2 that a aplicated on the mild steel material (estimated my application material that is used on equipment is Mild STEEL) will be able to function as OKSIDATOR. If OKSIDATOR this reacts on the liquid metal at the occurrence of welding will be able to form a oxidation and KARBONMONOKSIDA BESI (CO). Element of this is the CO will affect the mechanical nature of the weld metal elements because POROSITY CO insinuate that the weld metal during cooling occurs. Mechanical nature of the other effect is DUCTILITY and strength due to the IMPACT IRON NITRITE usually the presence of this element at the same time with the cracks.

What if PURE ARGON used as shielding gas?

Question for me what is what PURE ARGON FULL ARGON? The purpose of the PURE ARGON as welding shielding gas is ARGON which has 99,995% pure grade. Where does ARGON gas MONOATOMIC therefore ARGON is not a gas that is OKSIDATOR. PURE ARGON is not recommended as the shielding gas for GMAW when applicated on Mild STEEL material because it will cause UNDERCUT welded along the edge (Weld). For more details, please try P Errick with DCEP currents. Therefore I recommend that if you want to obey the instructions application hand book of Manufacture wire weld.

Material Mild steel is usually recommended using CO2 or Argon + CO2. And do not forget to buy gas if I have this certificate or Lab test results data. For additional information from this enlightenment ARGON gas that have market we have two types, namely PURE ARGON is usually equipped with a certificate in which the composition and grade 99999% ARGON (ARGON effeminate) grade composition of 87% or 90%, and the price is much cheaper it’s 4 X PURE ARGON The enlightenment that we can hopefully gratitute useful.
